Apgrade organization returns to the world of global podcasts with its third installment of Apcast – series of mixes devoted to the promotion of contemporary electronic music at its cutting edge. The guest of Apcast 003 is a DJ who adores sharing the finest gems of house and techno, Kristijan Molnar. Couple of days ago, he played the latest Prepare to Apgrade party, skilfully warming up for the”gentleman of techno”, Steve Bug. Kristijan runs a show of his own called Christallization Radio Show, so it can be expected that his Apcast mix will showcase not only his wast record collection, but the experience of fine blending those gems into a passionate and hypnotic tale.
After winning a DJ competition almost ten years ago, sponsored by a local radio and receiving “on air” time in a daily radio show as a reward, Kristijan was immediately hooked. Later on, he sealed the deal with Radio AS FM, the most listened to station in Novi Sad – the capital of the EXIT Festival. Since then, his Christallization Radio Show servers as a proper weekend warm up tool for clubbers everywhere every Thursday night at 12 PM CET. On a weekly basis, even in the fifth season of his show, Kristijan explores what kind of sound awaits us in the underground clubbing scene. He is never alone while on air as he is regularly joined by numerous big names from the industry. Radio Slave was the 150th “Christallized” guest and has joined previous guests including the legendary Mr. Fingers, as well as the popular Israeli producer Guy Gerber, great German artists such as Stimming, Matthias Tanzmann and Ian Pooley, or French house representatives Phil Weeks and Franck Roger, British duo Blond:ish and the Canadian live act Amirali, as well as Lambert, Dorisburg, Schwabe, H.O.S.H, Boris Werner, Ruede Hagelstein, Obernann among the others.
Christallization Radio Show has enabled Kristijan to witness firsthand the power of electronic music by rewarding him with performances all around Serbia and Europe, including EXIT Festival’s Dance Arena, MAD In Belgrade, Lovefest, gigs in Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Cyprus and Croatia. When he is in Belgrade, he plays his remarkable all night long sets at 20/44, one of the 25 best clubs in Europe claimed by The Guardian, where the parties end with beautiful sunrises above the old city fortress of Belgrade. Club Drugstore has entrusted him to warm up the atmosphere with his intros before Rødhåd and Bjarki or follow up Morhopsis with his unique outros. Last year has brought him even more club nights where he hosted or supported amazing guests such as Marcus Worgull, Sandrino, Kim Ann Foxman, The Drifter, Oskar Offermann, Job Jobse, Jennifer Cardini, Nuno Dos Santos, Davis, Ron Wilson, Rampue and Manuel Fischer. Kristijan has also started a party series named Bittersweet and has become part of Stereotip, a party night run by Resident Advisor’s number one, Dixon, in cooperation with Croatia’s finest, Felver.
