Passionate Brasilian ANNA, who’s been rocking the techno scene lately, is coming to Barutana on August 24 to a big party of world-known creative fore and celebrated label Mute, and their famous techno division NovaMute!
The line-up is headlined by the label’s founder, Daniel Miller, a cult persona of music industry who is behind releases of some of the world’s most famous names such are Depeche Mode, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Goldfrapp, Moby, DAF, Yazoo, and the whole range of the greatest artists in the electronic music industry. Even though Miller has found Mute label back in 1978, NovaMute label has, since its founding in 1992, released some of techno classic tracks signed by the pioneers of the scene, many of whom keep on creating with the same passion nowadays. Some of the names who have published for the label are Plastikman, Adam Beyer, Joey Beltram, Emmanuel Top, Speedy J, Miss Kittin, and this proud tradition is continued with talented Nicolas Bougaïeff, who is the third part of the “Berlin power drill”, as you can call it by its famous logo, coming to Belgrade.
Their host and representative of Belgrade’s strength in Barutana will be Ilija Đoković, who will perform for the first time on Apgrade, on a party that will be a great intro to Apgrade Weekend only 13 days later.

After winning the Best Young Performer Award on DJ Awards on Ibiza in 2016 and gaining the attention of the worldwide scene, ANNA hasn’t stopped receiving praise and good feedback from her colleagues for her DJ skills. Having innate sense of rhythm and talent for production wanted by the eminent labels like NovaMute, but also Kompakt, Diynamic, Turbo, Get Physical and many others, this girl from the Brazilian metropolis of Sao Paolo has been developing her DJ craft since the age of 14, in the DJ booth of her father’s club. Now she is a regular part of the line-up of the biggest music festivals and clubs, and in her native Brazil, she is a symbol of their twobest-knownn clubs – Warung and D-Edge. She is Carl Cox’s guest in Ibiza, and Solomon loves playing his faster sets back to back with her. The media enjoy following her rise which is not fuelled by pomp and social media omnipresence. Speaking of her debut EP for NovaMute (out May 25), ANNA is not hiding her satisfaction and excitement: “It’s such an honor to release on NovaMute! Daniel is a legend, and only a few years ago I couldn’t have even imagined this was ever going to happen! Razor is done, the feeling is surreal, and for me, these are very happy moments. ”
