The culmination of the summer clubbing season in Belgrade, second year in a row is the Apgrade Weekend, which will be held on the 2nd and the 3rd of September at the Kalemegdan fortress, in the trench under the Military Museum. During the two nights under the open skies of Belgrade, some of the most sought after names in the electronic scene will perform, such as the undisputed ruler of the Resident Advisor lists and unmistakable German maestro Dixon, and the world’s most wanted DJ duo Tale of Us. On the same stage are the ultimate “live techno” master Recondite and the absolute electro-heroine Miss Kittin. Local support in the most beautiful stretch of the Belgrade Fortress, will give them our internationally acclaimed performers Marko Nastić, Tijana T and Vladimir Ivković and the experienced Apgrade residents Gordan Paunović and Vlada Janjić. Two-day tickets for the entire Apgrade Weekend, are sold at the box offices of Eventim and Gigstix after the first, early price of 1590 dinars for the ground floor and 2,590 for the VIP terrace, and the following ticket prices will be higher.Tickets for individual nights will be available later on, unless the weekend tickets get sold out beforehand. Capacity is limited to 2,500 visitors per night, and the weekend tickets will be exchanged for wristbands in front of the entrance.
Dixon (Steffen Berkhahn) is considered one of the favorite personalities of the global music scene with as many as three years in the first place prestigious Resident Advisor lists! His travel schedule is one of most intensive with over 100 performances a year, including all the leading festivals Timewarp, EXIT, Sonus, Weather, Dekmantel, Nuit Sonores and most respected clubs like Nitsa, Robert Johnson or Pacha. Together with the duo Âme, he runs their joint label “Innervisions”. His party brand, “Lost in a Moment” is one of the most respected in the world and known for unusual locations with a cultural dimension, which is why his decision to play at the weekend Apgrade was a natural.
Tale of Us is a duo that make up the Italian virtuosos from with an adress in Berlin, Matteo Miller and Carmine Conte. Famous Mixmag proclaimed them the best DJ tandem of 2015, the same year they were runners-up at Resident Advisor’s chart, immediately after Dixon. Their DJ sets come from the world’s largest stages such as Coachella, Secret Solstice, Time Warp, and their performance at the festival Nuit Sonores is considered the be one of the best “Boiler Room” sets with over 2 million hits on Youtube. They release their impressive production on the cult labels such as “R & S”, “Visionquest”, “Life & Death” or “Minus”, and by far the most important song in the last few years, “Another Earth” set the Tale of Us at the top of the global electronic scene ! This year, they started their night at the famous club “Space” in Ibiza, titled “Afterlife”, guest list includes names such as Dixon, Recondite, Âme, Marcel Dettman, DJ Harvey, Mind Against and our own home-grown, Tijana T!
Recondite (Lorenz Brunner) is due to a number of publications and masterful live performance, became one of the most sought-after artists on the electronic scene. The audience votes from around the world in 2014 won him the title of “The Best Live Act” at the top list of Resident Advisor, which is still at the top. Regular performances at Berghain, Fabric, Concrete and Nitsa earned him the leading positions at international festivals such as Melt!, ADE, Nuit Sonores, dekmantel and Time Warp, where he performed with Richie Hawtin, and quickly became one of the famous residents at ENTER parties in Ibiza. He published for the leading publishing houses such as “Ghostly” “Innervisions,” “Dystopian”, “Life & Death” and many others.
Miss Kittin (Caroline Herve) is the underground heroin whose electro anthems reached peaks of world charts, and whose stellar status was confirmed by the prestigious magazine Billboard including her in the list of the 15 most important women at the electronic scene! Her distinctive vocal defined the cooperations with some of the most influential producers of the underground scene such as The Hacker with “Frank Sinatra”, “Stock Exchange” or “1982”, Felix Da Housecat with “Siver Screen Shower Scene” and “Madame Hollywood” and Sven Väth with techno chanson “Je t’aime” and Golden Boy with a colossal hit, “Rippin ‘Kittin”. In cooperation with the minimal techno mage Dubfire came the unavoidable hit “EXIT”, inspired by our famous festival. Her rich opus includes releases on respected labels among which are “International Deejay Gigolo,” “NovaMute” and “Goodlife”.

Apgrade in the past year in Belgrade brought some of the leading electronic artists, such are Richie Hawtin, Nicolas Jaar, Loco Dice, Chris Liebing, Mathew Jonson, Dave Harrington, Mike Huckaby, Function or Efdemin, but also many new talents among the which Valentin Stip, Julian Jeweil, Sebastian Mullaert, Fabio Florido, Caleb Calloway and others.
