Apgrade wraps up the season in style with two of the most in-demand DJs out there! Get ready for an exclusive double bill at Belgrade’s infamous powerhouse, Drugstore, featuring Call Super and Gabrielle Kwarteng!

Gabrielle Kwarteng

Gabrielle Kwarteng

New York-born DJ and Lot Radio resident Gabrielle Kwarteng is on a steady, slow-burning rise upward. Her sets have enchanted vital club spaces such as Panorama Bar in Berlin, Amnesia Ibiza, and NYC’s Nowadays, to name a few. She always carries the NYC energy on her sleeve—those early New York sounds, deep and sensual grooves, are still there, but in Kwarteng’s later mixes, you hear the dirty kick-drums and stab-like chords of UK rave and the abstract techno riffs of her new hometown, Berlin. An unstoppable force in contemporary dance music that is not to be missed—just check her upcoming gig agenda.

Call Super doesn’t need a special introduction. The London-born artist is established as one of the most consistently thrilling DJs on the underground circuit, using house and techno as a springboard to explore all manner of moods and sounds. He has more than a dozen releases under his belt, and while those records have undoubtedly been well received, it’s his prowess as a DJ that truly sets him apart. We’re thrilled to present you with a DJ of such a high profile—his versatility is evident in the range of his schedule, from headline slots at Sónar festival in Barcelona to his regular appearances at the Golden Pudel, Hamburg’s famous sweatbox, and Berlin’s Panorama Bar. He is a natural musical communicator pushing on in his own world, a world that has guided Call Super outwards and upwards.

This international lineup is further strengthened by Belgrade’s Nikola Vemić and Feloneezy, each a unique selector in their own right, ready to serve a variety of eclectic curveballs for the opening and closing.
