After being the peak of the summer season for the past two years, this year’s third edition of Apgrade Weekend will last for three days, from September 7-9 , in a well-known trench below the Military Museum of the Belgrade Fortress. One of the leaders of the global techno movement, Sven Väth, personally confirmed his arrival after watching last year’s “aftermovie”, expressing the wish that his first Belgrade open-air should be the Apgrade Weekend!
He will be joined by Berlin’s electronic giants Modeselektor , and Cologne’s mainstay Michael Mayer, a DJ-extraordinaire and the founder of the iconic Kompakt label! The list of headliners will soon be expanded with one of the most sought-after world performers whose connection with local audience is particularly close!
From Thursday evening to Sunday morning, Apgrade will host the new generation of coming stars represented by Amelie Lens, Konstantin Sibold and Vril , while Tijana T, Marko Milosavljevic, Nikola Vemic, Stevie Whisper and Vlada Janjic will perform under the local banners. A limited amount of three-day sets at the first price of 1890 RSD for Parter and 2990 RSD for the VIP Teras, is available at all cash registers and through the websites Gigstix.com and Eventim.rs.
In past two years, Apgrade hosted numerous leading performers of the global electronic scene, such as Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Nicolas Jaar, Dixon, Tale of Us, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, Miss Kittin, Recondite, Guy Gerber, Function, Agoria, Efdemin, Mathew Jonson and many others.
