One of the most popular artists in the world electronic music scene, Loco Dice will perform on September 18th in Belgrade hall “Depo” under the organization of the new Apgrade parties. Popular producer and DJ from Dusseldorf is coming to Belgrade as a part of his world tour which promotes his new album “Underground Sound Suicide”, which hosts the already popular single “Get Comfy”, featured by the London rapper Giggs. The video for this song, which cleverly combines hip-hop and techno, the influential magazine “Thump” declared as the story of Dice’s roots, stating that Guy Ritchie would be proud of directing something like that. The album hosts another big name in hip-hop, the US hit maker Just Blaze, but the majority of this release is relying on house and techno sound that Dice connects as hardly any other DJ on the global stage. Among the most important contributors there are Chris Liebing, Miss Kittin and Guti, but a particularly interesting contributor is the famous Neneh Cherry. A New York DJ and producer Caleb Calloway is also arriving to Belgrade, as well as one more representative of Dice’s famous publishing house, Alexandar Ivković from Belgrade, who contributed two editions to “Desolat”. Local support is Vlada Janjić, and the tickets can be bought at the box office of Eventim and Gigstix at promo price of 790 dinars.
Since Belgrade’s last appearance in March 2014, Loco Dice is at the very top of the electronic scene, performing at major festivals like Awakenings, BPM, Coachella, Glastonbury, Monegros, Movement, Sonar, Sonus, Time Warp, T in the Park, Tomorrowland. Besides the CNTRL tour in the United States with Richie Hawtin, Dice’s party called “Used + Abused” hosted the big names such as Paul Ritch, Tale of Us, Nastia, tINI, MK aka Marc Kinchen… He has performed with his great friend Carl Cox in America, and also at Space in Ibiza, where they even celebrated their birthdays together last year! This year, the German star of Tunisian origin, dominates the island with Spanish residency at the infamous Hyte parties, where by his side perform Laurent Garnier, Recondite, Ricardo Villalobos, Rødhåd, Kenny Dope Gonzales, Pan-Pot and others, while this whole season as headliners is being lead by Maceo Plex, Chris Liebing and of course, Loco Dice.
RICHIE HAWTIN AND BERGHAIN RESIDENTS FOR THE FIRST UPGRADE WEEKEND
The leader of the global electronic scene Richie Hawtin will perform at Kalemegdan within the first ▲ (Apgrade) weekend, which will be held on 4th and 5th of September in a trench under the Military Museum of Belgrade, and together with him, on the first night there, Julian Jeweil and Fabio Florido are performing under the name of Minus label. On the first Belgrade Apgrade, on the other night of the event, on Saturday, September 5th, as part of the Ostgut Ton label evening, come the residents of the most famous world club Berghain, Efdemin, Function and Boris. Tickets are sold at the box office of Eventim and Gigstix, at a promo price of 1,590 dinars for two nights, a contingent is limited.
